This piece took two weeks to complete and I used cotton fabrics with fusibles. When I see this piece on my wall, it looks like it was made with clay. I can see what appears to be finger trails and marks. This image is leading me to a different type of art. It looks like a sculpture. The colors that were chosen were ony 12. original photo that I used This palette will be used again in another image, so check my page often.

Golden Lab Fabric Mosaic Art

Golden Lab Fabric Mosaic Art

The Golden Lab image was made using a photograph that was scanned into my computer. I used fabric strips that is fused to a lightweight tricot backing to transform this into Fabric Photo Art.

Any photo can be used to create this Mosaic Art.
This is much easier and can be done in a weekend. This version I teach in a 3 hour class. The classes are taught here in Las Vegas at a large Sewing and Craft store.

This piece used thousands of fabric pieces and took about 700 hours to complete. It measures 26 x 32 inches and is my all time favorite. You can actually see the perspiration on his face. He hangs in my living room and is the first thing that you see when you come into my apartment home. I will surely miss this one when it’s
sold.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS PIECE WAS FEATURED IN diycitymag.com/the mag on July 15TH!They featured an article about New Orleans, my birthplace!
