WWAO World Wide Womens Online

I am a proud Member of:

Worldwide Women Artistsis an international collective of women artists showing and selling our work through the worldwide web. As women artists, we give birth to our ideas in a variety of styles and media. We embrace the diversity of each others work, celebrating the joy of creating our art and sharing it with the world. We welcome female visual artists from all over the world who create and sell their own original art. Please note that only the artist is eligible for membership. The presence of third parties goes against our founding ideals, so we do not accept proxy memberships of agents or webmasters. Additionally, members are required to meet certain participation requirements to keep their membership in good standing.

June WWAO Showcase is hosted by Amanda Makepeace. Amanda has a variety of art in her Etsy store.   Please take the time to visit her shop. Our display is absolutely beautifully arranged with unique self representing art from other members of our group.

The theme of this month’s event is”June’s Secret Life of Trees exhibition”,  and she has quoted Alice Walker, “In nature, nothing is perfect and everything is perfect. Trees can be contorted, bent in weird ways, and they’re still beautiful.”  ~Alice Walker

ACEO/ATC WWAO SWAP of 2009 – 16 member Artists are swapping Artists Trading Cards to share our art with each other.

ATC  or Artist Trading Cards are 3 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ pieces of small art and is never sold.  That is the only rule.  The card may be any medium such as a painting, sketch, mixed-media, fabric, trims, or anything else that you can imagine. Most of these are one of a kind and are signed and dated by the artist.

ACEO or Art Cards, Editions and Originals is the same as ATC, except that these are sold. Most of the Artists from WWAO have them for sale on their websites, Etsy or other places.  Please take a look at our ATC SWAP and follow the links to purchase your own small work of art.

I’m a geologist by training, and I’ve always had a love for color, design, texture, and working with my hands. Geology plays a strong role in my jewelry through my use of natural gemstones. I strive to appreciate and celebrate the variety found in nature by choosing gemstones with character.
